Don't worry about tomorrow..

Sunday, I got a Bible Verse of the day that really touched me, but little did I know that I would need to focus on His words especially this week.

Each day, a message from God arrives in my email box and some days I look at it and some days I am "too busy". Sunday, God spoke with the following scripture "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34. The words I read before, but little did I know how much I would need them this week.

Money is the root of all evil. I truly believe that. Unfortunately, it is also necessary. Over the past several months, it has become the work of Satan to stress me beyond my limits when it comes to not having enough money for everything.

Molly was in the hospital for 3 days when she was 3 weeks old. Now, we have a $3000 hospital bill and that is WITH insurance. We were already in over our heads with lots of medical bills, being behind on our mortgage and just everyday expenses. Satan attacks everyday and tries to break my focus on today. He makes me worry about tomorrow which God tells us NOT to do. It is a struggle that I am facing just as I type this even. I ask for your prayers for our family, for our future and for me to NOT worry about the things of tomorrow and focus on the blessings of today. I pray that each of you will have a blessed day and may the worries of tomorrow be forbidden from our hearts and minds so we can enjoy God's blessings today.

  1. On a positive note, the bill from the hospital has since been reduced and although our money situation is far from being great, God has truly blessed us in so many ways since I wrote this post. May God have the glory for the blessings that have been poured on the Rabbitt family.
